Suddenly, sense of national pride.

When Nova FM first launched, they used to get people to come find the Nova Ambo and tell a joke (etc) to win a prize. One night, a dude turned up, and the presenter said “What’ve you got for us?” and the dude said “I can do the Peter Garrett dance”. The ensuing 30-seconds or so of street tone and off-mic laughing/applause was the best thing I’ve ever heard on radio.

He is now the Minister for School Education, Early Childhood and Youth for Australia. He use to be the Environmental Minister but we won’t talk about that.
